Powell Valley over Gate City by 9 or 11. Gate City boys eliminated from JV Championship Game. Leading scorer for GC may have been Tanner Herron not sure.

JV Girls

Powell Valley over Gate City by 7. Devils first district loss. They still play in the district championship game at Coeburn. Leading scorer for Gate City was Megan Starnes.

Pound over Kelly by 4.

JV Girls:
Kelly over Pound by 1 I believe.

Appalachia Boys beat Norton by around 20. So its Powell Valley and Appalachia for the boys?

I hope Appalachia plays good.Maybe winning a jv championship will show them that footballs not the only sport they need to focus on in high school.

I agree..as for a breakdown of the appy game..
Hall led with 24 followed by Stuart with 20
Appy made a total of 8 3's led by Hall with 4 and Stuart with 3.
PV vs. Appy
Watch out for PV to dominate down low. They are physically stronger and taller than Appy's Post players. However, Appy should own the perimeter with much better guard play. They split the regular season games. Should be a close one.
